OOTD #36: Airline Outfit

I always wanted to be a personnel or model and even an air stewardess, besides the thought of also being a musician. Unfortunately, I am too chubby and short to be an air stewardess even with this adorable face which I am born with. 

In the end, I chose fashion. Over these few years, I have (shamelessly) decided to slowly divert this blog into a fashion blog.

Since my term break had just started and most of you have already enjoyed the first week of your school holidays. I decided to do special travel outfit blog post. This will not be like any other travel outfit post. I have decided to choose an airline company and create an outfit as inspired by anything that is related to them. I would boldly choose Jetstar.

Do not worry. I am not going to make you turns up as an orange...

So GUYS (yes.. Guys!)  here is my outfit for you:

I know how you dude like your basics. I have chosen Basic Slub Knit Crew Tee in the color gray for you to match with one color from JetStar's logo - ORANGE, Summer Short with Colored Bar Track! You know you need comfy shoes when you are going shopping with your baby girl. *smirk and wink* To give it a bit of urban color I chose this really vintage car print shoes from ZALORA. 

Of cos, you will need your wallet, make sure there are real cash and cards in the wallet. A classic wallet is definitely the best wallet fashion to buy for a guy. Trust me. I am a real lady. I know what fashion suit my man the best.

I find guys who carry backpacks ARE REALLY CUTE. I chose a black color backpack  to match the Men's Faux Leather Strap Watch in Black. Personally, I like to purposely ask my boyfriend to carry my bag for me. Guys, I have helped you to solve your problem about carrying handbags! PUT THEM IN YOUR BACKPACK!

So, to add in a bit more colors, a tiny bit more... I chose Mixed Woven Beads Bracelet. Which just happens to be one of my personal favourite type of bracelet right now!

You say you can only wear a dress for formal occasion or Chinese's New Year? THERE IS NO SUCH RULE IN THE BOOK OF FASHION BARBIE! NOPE! *Snap fingers* Not at all, I have already double checked for you. 

Found this really lovely Embellished Yoke And Back Midi Dress in orange from Zalora. I have chosen a small tote bag so that you will look like you have many things on you. Too much is not good, ya.

A kimono cardigan is not only comfy and keeps you warm, it is also light- weighed. You can just easily fold it and stuff easily into your tote bag. 

I am not a person who is obsess with accessories. A piece or two is just enough to coordinate in a look. I chose a rose gold watch and pair of shades to match almost my entire outfit. 

Comfortable shoes is a must to put on when you want to walk like as if you are one of the Victoria's Secret Angels. If you are a petite lady like me, choose a pair of loafer with a little bit of heel to add on some height. Ermm.. Guys.. I have a question for you: "Do you like your lady to be tall or short and cute? :) " I am just wondering. :)

OOTD #35: My Style Staple

Was talking about matching of simple staple clothes with my kin on our way home from church. I have noticed that some of the believers have really great sense of fashion. If I did not take a close observation of their clothes, I would have thought that they are so rich that they bought the entire H&M or F21. 

Then, it is all about the staple items and knowing how to mix and match one item into different styles. Also, outfits that suits almost any occasions.

The color that will make chubby girls look slim and also gives a little bit of glamour will be black. I always love wearing dresses. I am going to coordinate a little black dress from Daily Look's Little Black Dress Collection.

As shopping is the most possible cardio workout that we, lovely ladies will definitely love to do during our free time. Unfortunately, I do not have a lot of free time to check out the latest collections in my favourite retail outlets the moment school starts. My only shopping workout will be my fingers. I am talking about online fashion boutique. My eyes caught hold onto KEEPSAKE MORE THAN THIS DRESS from DailyLook.com.

And... I can show you how to style with this dress if you have to many occasions or events in one day. All you have to do is just a little bit of changing.*Dolly Winks*

For Work

Waking up feeling refreshed. You would not want to wear too many accessories for yourself. The early morning first impression is very important. Dressing well and looking good shows how much respect you always give to the people you are meeting the moment you step out of your apartment.

David Thomas Vegan Leather Box Clutch in Black to match it with the black dress and to avoid contrasting with the outerwear you are going to wear it to work as a formal wear. Black is the easiest to style and it would get dirty easily. No one will know if you do not wash your clutches. Woops!

To make your legs looks long. Wear a pair of heels. You do not need a 5 inches pump. Do not afraid to walk with heels. No one started walking perfectly with heels. So Practice! Practice Makes Perfect! *Thumbs Up!*

For Casual

You only have 30 mins to 1 hour for lunch. You would not want to waste an opportunity to show off your great fashion style. You only have that minimal amount of time to eat and fellowship with your peers or should I say your date at lunch date? *smirk* So at lunch, we wear flats. 

To add on to the spring feel, I have found Leilani Floral Vintage Clutch on DL's wesbite . Hang your small sling bags around you and you would not have to fear about forgetting your belongs or afraid of getting stolen. All you need in your lunch bag will only be: Wallet, car key, phone, travel size make up and of course, tissue. Giving that tough girl's look I found an earrings also on DL's website.

For Off Duty

I understood that we are all hard workers. We work till late and we have dinner meets to attend. #SighPie 

Ladies, touch up your make up and add on a few more accessories to make a little different. As we rush, we tends to be clumsy. So say no no to sling bags to diners. You would not want to hook onto a stranger's chair as you walk to your meeting table. Woops again! So use a clutch. Try to have an empty versatile clutch that you could place inside your car. 

For Night

Take a closer look at the dress I picked out from DL's LBD Collection. The black cutting is just a pity if you do not gets to show of your sexy back with this little black dress.

Step up into this year's trend with latest update from my favourite TeenVogue, Gladiators Sandals are going to rock Spring/ Summer ! 

With a ring on your finger (please do not put on to the wrong finger if you are single) to spice up your hand fashion when you holds up your beverages and cheers!

Kendra's Fashion Challenge

What is the trend for Spring 2014 in London? 

Floral Print and Crop Tops. 

My love for floral prints never cease. Not only for teenagers like me or younger adults (like me also) or working ladies are always up what's the latest fashion trends and look. Moreover, a mother who is always busy at work and home is also up to trend. 

Here I have for today's post- Kendra Thornton's Fashion Challenge.

Who is Kendra Thornton?

Kendra is a travel expert who has been on television shows like Tyra Banks and Nate Berkus. She regularly shares tips on planning, packing, and numerous other aspects of travel, and am thrilled to be starting a new project on fashion as related to travel.

Just recently, I received an email from Kendra Thornton herself, asking me to create looks for her on her upcoming trip to Las Vegas. She called this challenge- Kendra's Fashion Challenge. 

From Kendra:

"My name is Kendra, and I am very excited about going to Las Vegas with my friends in a few weeks. Since there are so many fun things to do in Sin City, and especially at the Palms Casino and Resort, I find myself undecided about what to wear. Being a busy mom often makes me reach for whatever is comfortable instead of fashionable....

...While at the Palms, I will be hanging out in the Ghost Bar, which is a dizzying 55 floors above the Strip. The views are spectacular through the glass-bottom balcony, and the lounge atmosphere allows a person really enjoy quality time with friends. Simple yet glamorous. My favourite of all is the cool, clear night clutch. The hair tie can be used as a hair tie or bracelet! Nice, simple, elegant and chic. Adding a bit of gold and silver making it look metallic.
