OOTD #28: Fanatics Game Day X Shirley Charlin

Finding that perfect outfit that suits the humid weather in Singapore to attend a sports meet is tough. I want to have a sweet girl look yet sporty but not sweaty. That pleasant looking sporty girl look, although I am not a sport woman. That is even tougher.

However, when it comes to a dressing up challenge. I would definitely give it a try. For Outfit Of The Day (OOTD) #28, I am going to give the sports luxe idea a try with two of the MLB hats from Fanatics
When I think of a baseball look, I am going to match it with a cap. Hereby, I choose New Era L.A. Dodgers Ladies 9FORTY Neon Tri-Blend Adjustable Trucker Hat in PINK from Fanatics.
I love this cap at first sight.
I am always finding this cap that has a caption with a country of USA. I am not a fan of pink, but this cap makes me love pink a lot. For this cap only. I repeat: Only for this cap, I like pink for this once. Because everything on this web site are officially licensed and they provides a 365 day return, I can still change to something blue!

Besides I think that this cap in pink can really match the blue baby doll dress I got from a local retail shop in Singapore. Totally PERFECT for my sweet girl's look. LOL. Why do I sound like a tourist... I am a Singaporean FYI. But I would really love to have this cap.

Here is what I would wear with this pink cap:

Neutrogena Sun Block Lotion with SPF 50+ // Blue Baby Dress (Picture from Pinterest) //
Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Powder From Collection //
Zip- Front Faux Leather Bag From Forever 21// Number 480 from New Balance//

If I were you, I will heed advise from Beauty Guru, Michelle Phan. She says: " A little goes a long way." I will not apply full make up if I really wanted to, to a sports meet.

Next, For those who are more into pants. Here is a look I came out with- Sporty Chic. It is even simpler and lightweight than the sweet girl's look. I think?
Replace the cap I bought from Cotton On some time back, with New Era L.A. Dodgers Authentic 2013 Clubhouse 39THIRTY Flex Hat in White . It totally gives a slightly edgy look, from a sweet looking girl to a "Hey There I am so going to support my favourite sports team!" with a little bit of girl touch to it. I love this cap also for the obvious reason - IT IS BLUE! Not going to out with a full blue outfit. Majority of the cap is actually white in color, makes me looks clean at the same time.

I am wearing a Knotted Top at SGD$10 in the sale section. I bought from Factorie in their retail outlet at Causeway Point. I totally love this top because it reminds me of Taylor Swift's top (the one with a knot at the bottom) that she wore in her "22" MV.

I was wearing a pair of green legging pants I bought from a random trolley shop. I bought it because of its loud color. I had been matching it with other bright colors lately.

I prefer carrying backpacks then sling bags because I can put many things inside and the weight of my bag will balance on both of my shoulders. I chose Baggu Duck Bag from Forever 21. I am just so into Forever 21. How I wish that the apparels sold in Forever 21 in Singapore can be as cheap as those I bought in Seattle. :(

Do not bring too much to a sport meets or any other days. I learnt that when I was in BC during last Christmas. Shop for new stuffs as you walk around. I like to explore around and try out new stuffs. Explore, learn and have fun!

I have recently bought Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Powder from Shopping Arcade located inside of the school campus that I am currently studying in. The powder is really light weight and does not makes me feel sticky at all. It really did last for more than 8 hours.

Remember to hydrate yourself! The bottle is from Blogilates. Totally love Cassey and her breakthrough as she is doing what she loves to do! I am glad to have found her youtube channel - Blogilates. I had been following her monthly fitness calendar most of the time. #Confession

-
I appreciate authentic stuffs because they are hard work of every designers. I am a person who will definitely purchase authentic accessories from anywhere if I have the money.

After a long hiatus, I have finally upload a video of the two outfits I came out with the cap I have both from Cotton On! I have finally uploaded a new video for Fashion Barbie!

I hope everyone who watches this will love the video!  How I matches my cap with the two outfits I picked and still able to wear them in Sunny Singapore. Please remember to subscribe to my Youtube Channel!

Lol... I just recalled that I have a old blogpost where I wore my blue beanie to town for OOTD #7.

Remember to try out new outfits and explore. You can get inspiration from any other fashion bloggers, yet still be original, be daring and be bold.

Anime Festival Asia 2014

Anime Festival Asia (AFA) was held during December 5 to 7 this year. Is a series of anime conventions held in the Southeast Asian region, with a core annual convention held in Singapore. The main convention is traditionally held over a weekend in mid-November.

To me, it is a place where you will not be judged by anyone. You can feel free to dress in one of the kind outfit - Decora, Lolita or in your favourite anime characters.

I finally got to attend with my friend!

Make a guess which character did I sort of cosplay as?

Telling you in 5...

3 and half ...

3 and a quarter...

TA DA!

DORAEMON! Did anyone of you guess it correctly?
I reached at the convention hall really late in the early afternoon. With the accompany of my friend and my friend's friend whom they want to be kept anonymous, I FINALLY WENT TO MY VERY FIRST ANIME FESTIVAL!

As a celebration to Doraemon's 100th Anniversary, I went forth to be Doraemon for a day! (^_^)Y
and I met pikachu

Not long after I arrived, there were a few photographers complimented me for my cuteness. *Flip hair*  It was my first time attending an anime festival, also quite a few people came to me and asked if they could take a photo with me. OBVIOUSLY, I SAID YES! I was so excited and yet shy when people asked me for photographs!

I was even more excited after I found out that Hana and Baozi are guest cosers!

It was a coincidence when I went to the Fan Shop and they came out of the fan- meet booth! So there goes a selfie! Senpai Baozi took my IPhone and took this picture!
After which, I went to challenge the titans ... WHO WILL WIN? DORAEMON OR THE HUMANS?!

AND THE WINNER GOES TO...

NONE OTHER THAN... ME!!!
LOL... I endured my laughter for this picture because there was a videographer filming me and a random photographer kneeling down to take a picture of me.

I have not been so happy for the the longest time! Anyway, not sure if anyone is reading this blog, if you happens to have snap a picture of me and know that you took a picture of me. Kindly do email to me the pictures! Thanks you.

OOTD #27: Strips and sweatpants

I always recycle my clothes and try to find other ways of wearing them to school. I learnt how to appreciate clothes designed by designers as I grow older. I learnt that it is not about how expensive the clothes are nor it is the labels that makes you look good in the clothes that you put on. The important is how you pull it off. The way you present yourself.

There is no general studies module for the final week of term three. I took Professional Image as one of my general studies module. I learnt about the color combination. What color matches you the best according to your color tone. At the end of the lesson, I realised that I suits cool color clothes because the color of my veins on my wrist is bluer in color. If the color of your veins is more green means you suits warm color more.

OOTD #26: Strips and floral

STRIPS AND FLORAL OOTD:
CAP: Cotton On
TOP: Cotton On
SKIRT: Cotton On

Haven't has any spare time to go shopping. The night before, one of my cousins handed down to us some clothes and I took the top with strips. In the end, the top is also slightly too oversize for me.

Yes. I had my hair cut at jean yip again. I have a pattern when it comes to whether am I going to cut my hair short or just have it trimmed. I need to have my hair cut once in a while because I want to be a hardcore brown hair girl. I do not really like really black hair color and I do not even know why myself.

School is pretty fun except for examinations. I feel that semester 2 is so rush that I have been dozing off in the middle of classes... I cannot wait for term break in less than 5 weeks time and it will be a new year soon! I have already planned on what to get for my first Christmas present to myself! Am already so excited and I would like to thanks the boys who gave me tips and tricks for the upcoming present that I am buying for myself! BOYS YOU ROCK!

OOTD #25: Halloween 2014

Finally got to experience my very first Halloween after 19 and half years of breathing partially polluted air. Thanks to my friend, Yaminogames for the invitation! It was really a rushing day. We rushed home to get dress up and then headed to woodlands where we meet up with Yaminogames's friends!

We lost our way to woodland grove, so it is time for some photo taking as we find (or should I just mention google?) our way to the destination. Thanks Yaminogames for these wonderfully edited iphone- photography.
I really tried my very best to pose as scary as possible. All I can say is... I am just too adorable to look scary.

Met some new friends along the way. The cool dude in the picture above, hanged lighted- skull bulbs around his neck. I even befriended Mr titan (in one of the pictures above) on instagram. Some people even approached me for pictures and this totally brightens up my night that I kept on repeating about it to Yaminogames and Xinyi while we make our way back to Marsiling MRT station. I even managed to take a photo in the middle of the road. Yaminogames's friend took the picture for me. I shouted: " Sorry give the way to the princess," as he shouted: " Sorry this is her grandfather's road."

The event was splendid! We were able to dress up or cosplay in which ever characters we want without getting judge at. Although, I have to rant that I was called crazy at MacDonald by a few uncivilized sloppily dressed   narrow minded group of students while I queued for my food. The cashier boy was really nervous as he serve me. HO HEY! IT'S HALLOWEEN! Yaminogames told me that because I am a sweet girl which henceforth brighten up my night even more!

And of course, what is a outfit of the day post without the OOTD pictures? The pictures below are all taken by Yaminogames using IPhone 5. Poses are taught by her.
OOTD #25: Halloween 2014:

Thanks Yaminogames for the great invitation and an extended invitation to my friend, Xinyi!

My favourite fashion website/ blog

Since I do not have much to blog about lately, I would love to share with everyone some of my favourite fashion website/blogs.

Starting from blogs:

Founder, Chiara Ferragni was born in Cremona in 1987.

Extracted from her blog: She inherited from her mother the passion for fashion and photography and already when she was a teenager she became popular on the first online communities, where she shared photos she was taking with her friends. In 2009, when blogs were not yet the today phenomenon, she launched TheBlondeSalad.com, to express herself and relate to 360°.
The Blonde Salad is much more than a blog today , it’s a real source of inspiration and style for millions people in Italy and around the world. Chiara Ferragni collaborates today with the major Fashion Houses, she appears in the most read magazines, she is the creative director of her shoe line which is entirely Made in Italy and she has been named by Business of Fashion as one of the most influential personalities of the international fashion world.
What I really likes about Chiara is about her unique and up to date sense of fashion. No matter what everything just suits her really well. Even the latest collection from Jeremy Scott. Her blog post titled Grazia Italy- September 2014 photoshoot for Moschino Spring Summer 2015. Everything looks so good in her. No wonder her instagram bio : " Love fiercely (and don't forget to stop along the way to take photos)" . She sure looks like a live barbie.

Blogger Willabelle Ong, creator of PaleDivision.com. Extract from her blog: Internationally based Willabelle Ong is the creative mind, worldwide correspondent and travel enthusiast behind the luxury lifestyle and fashion website, Pale Division. She has collaborated with a diverse clientele — from Gucci, Longines, and Schwarzkopf, to eBay, Sony, and Lenovo.

Other celebrated brands that have reached out include SK-II, Shiseido, Swarovski, Mode Creation Munich (MCM), Topshop, Logitech, Canon, NARS, Benefit, ASOS, Reebonz, River Island, and so on.

Willabelle has covered work across the globe from Asia to Europe, personally interviewing celebrities such as Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet and Simon Baker. The Pale Division website is also highly adored by the likes of Hollywood actress Vanessa Hudgens.

Recognised by a strong social media following in particular, Willabelle is regularly invited and flown to grace events, including FIDé Fashion Weeks as a Celebrity Social Media Corespondent and Audi Fashion Festival as a Fashion Insider under Singapore Airlines.

In addition to being profiled and making appearances in global publications like Teen Vogue, Cleo, Nylon, Fashion TV and the Levi's 501® Interpretations book, Willabelle is currently freelancing as a writer, consultant and photographer, as well as a contributing columnist for Singapore's Designaré magazine and a writer for NOWFASHION.

Hearing from my friends that she was a Singaporean. She is my favourite I am a follower to all of her social media. I love how she mix and match bold colors to her everyday outfit that she will share onto her social media. Envy of her beauty and success even more, after knowing that she is only a year older than I am.

Just found her recently on instagram. Love her bold red lip and started to visit her blog almost everytime I use my laptop to blog or going to "stalk" all of my favourite fashion bloggers. Unfortunately her blog is not a fully english literate blog.

As for my favourite fashion website. Is definitely none other than TEENVOGUE.
As from the day I decided to revamp this blog to a fashion and lifestyle blog, they are still in the first place on list of my favourite fashion website. They always inspires me to wear what I wanted to wear in this sunny island. I just change up a little bits and pieces of an outfit inspired by them and they are already able to be worn in Singapore. Over the two years, teenvogue had taught me how to revamp my clothes, my confidence and my look. I am starting to hear people praising me from times to times. I could partially (or can I just say) sincerely thanks them for their existence. Inspire fashion through social media and teaching young teens to be inspired and dare to try. (I do not always read the about section of any website, I am saying from the deep down of my heart.) Always been up-to-date to the latest trends. Sometimes, I can even predicted correctly what will the next trend be. Because of teenvogue, I started to know about Willabelle Ong, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and many other fashion icons I had have been following since I first browse their website. Learning from their inspired ones. Thank you teenvogue!

Now, it is everyone's turn to make the best changes in their lives. Have a pleasant and meaningful week, fashion barbies! :)

Favourite Fall Looks from Pinterest 2014

Since the trend for this year's fall is my favourite PLAID, you can't possible be wearing plaid throughout the whole season. Here are just a few of my favourite looks I have re- pinned from my Pinterest account. Looking through outfits in Pinterest makes me want to say: "Why Singapore only have summer and at most spring?!"

I always tell myself this:" If you think that it is comfy to wear them in Singapore then WEAR THEM!" Looking through the pin board I have created in my account. I feel that they are still appropriate to wear in Singapore.

I always have a lot of great times at work. However, I do not think that I will stay long enough in the cafe that I am currently working at. My bosses dote all of their part timers a lot and the work load that was given to us are really minimum.  I think I am going to work until I can buy and celebrate Wan Chyng's 21st Birthday. It is really obvious that she wanted to celebrate her birthday in MBS and stay overnight in staycation. I hope to help her to fulfill her 21st Birthday wish. I have many other friends and I am not bias to only one. It is the reality makes me feel that it is really really hard to trust anyone around you and also only a few friends out of that MANY FRIENDS are supportive and do not always drown you with negative remarks. Nevertheless when your own flesh and blood kin aren't. This is why I treasure friendship a lot.

I have more guy friends than girl friends although I always hang out with girls. Most guys I know are pretty mature than their actual age, which is actually a good thing. As for girls. errrrr , they are pretty much childish and they are the ones who are the cunning and selfish ones. I know I am a female. At times, I do not need to speak for my gender. Both gender have their rights and wrongs. Sometimes, I just like to see from the point of view from both. TO BE FAIR. Girls can dislike what guys like. Guys can dislike what girls like. You cannot make both to like the same thing at the same time. It is like forcing.

Even if it so, I still do not get why couples break up? I also experienced in break ups before. I will never patch back because if you want to break up with me then why bother about thinking of patching up. Learn to appreciate people in a harsh way.

Hope that you enjoyed some insides and the fashion inspiration I got from pinterest.
