My favourite fashion website/ blog

Since I do not have much to blog about lately, I would love to share with everyone some of my favourite fashion website/blogs.

Starting from blogs:

Founder, Chiara Ferragni was born in Cremona in 1987.

Extracted from her blog: She inherited from her mother the passion for fashion and photography and already when she was a teenager she became popular on the first online communities, where she shared photos she was taking with her friends. In 2009, when blogs were not yet the today phenomenon, she launched TheBlondeSalad.com, to express herself and relate to 360°.
The Blonde Salad is much more than a blog today , it’s a real source of inspiration and style for millions people in Italy and around the world. Chiara Ferragni collaborates today with the major Fashion Houses, she appears in the most read magazines, she is the creative director of her shoe line which is entirely Made in Italy and she has been named by Business of Fashion as one of the most influential personalities of the international fashion world.
What I really likes about Chiara is about her unique and up to date sense of fashion. No matter what everything just suits her really well. Even the latest collection from Jeremy Scott. Her blog post titled Grazia Italy- September 2014 photoshoot for Moschino Spring Summer 2015. Everything looks so good in her. No wonder her instagram bio : " Love fiercely (and don't forget to stop along the way to take photos)" . She sure looks like a live barbie.

Blogger Willabelle Ong, creator of PaleDivision.com. Extract from her blog: Internationally based Willabelle Ong is the creative mind, worldwide correspondent and travel enthusiast behind the luxury lifestyle and fashion website, Pale Division. She has collaborated with a diverse clientele — from Gucci, Longines, and Schwarzkopf, to eBay, Sony, and Lenovo.

Other celebrated brands that have reached out include SK-II, Shiseido, Swarovski, Mode Creation Munich (MCM), Topshop, Logitech, Canon, NARS, Benefit, ASOS, Reebonz, River Island, and so on.

Willabelle has covered work across the globe from Asia to Europe, personally interviewing celebrities such as Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet and Simon Baker. The Pale Division website is also highly adored by the likes of Hollywood actress Vanessa Hudgens.

Recognised by a strong social media following in particular, Willabelle is regularly invited and flown to grace events, including FIDé Fashion Weeks as a Celebrity Social Media Corespondent and Audi Fashion Festival as a Fashion Insider under Singapore Airlines.

In addition to being profiled and making appearances in global publications like Teen Vogue, Cleo, Nylon, Fashion TV and the Levi's 501® Interpretations book, Willabelle is currently freelancing as a writer, consultant and photographer, as well as a contributing columnist for Singapore's Designaré magazine and a writer for NOWFASHION.

Hearing from my friends that she was a Singaporean. She is my favourite I am a follower to all of her social media. I love how she mix and match bold colors to her everyday outfit that she will share onto her social media. Envy of her beauty and success even more, after knowing that she is only a year older than I am.

Just found her recently on instagram. Love her bold red lip and started to visit her blog almost everytime I use my laptop to blog or going to "stalk" all of my favourite fashion bloggers. Unfortunately her blog is not a fully english literate blog.

As for my favourite fashion website. Is definitely none other than TEENVOGUE.
As from the day I decided to revamp this blog to a fashion and lifestyle blog, they are still in the first place on list of my favourite fashion website. They always inspires me to wear what I wanted to wear in this sunny island. I just change up a little bits and pieces of an outfit inspired by them and they are already able to be worn in Singapore. Over the two years, teenvogue had taught me how to revamp my clothes, my confidence and my look. I am starting to hear people praising me from times to times. I could partially (or can I just say) sincerely thanks them for their existence. Inspire fashion through social media and teaching young teens to be inspired and dare to try. (I do not always read the about section of any website, I am saying from the deep down of my heart.) Always been up-to-date to the latest trends. Sometimes, I can even predicted correctly what will the next trend be. Because of teenvogue, I started to know about Willabelle Ong, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and many other fashion icons I had have been following since I first browse their website. Learning from their inspired ones. Thank you teenvogue!

Now, it is everyone's turn to make the best changes in their lives. Have a pleasant and meaningful week, fashion barbies! :)

Favourite Fall Looks from Pinterest 2014

Since the trend for this year's fall is my favourite PLAID, you can't possible be wearing plaid throughout the whole season. Here are just a few of my favourite looks I have re- pinned from my Pinterest account. Looking through outfits in Pinterest makes me want to say: "Why Singapore only have summer and at most spring?!"

I always tell myself this:" If you think that it is comfy to wear them in Singapore then WEAR THEM!" Looking through the pin board I have created in my account. I feel that they are still appropriate to wear in Singapore.

I always have a lot of great times at work. However, I do not think that I will stay long enough in the cafe that I am currently working at. My bosses dote all of their part timers a lot and the work load that was given to us are really minimum.  I think I am going to work until I can buy and celebrate Wan Chyng's 21st Birthday. It is really obvious that she wanted to celebrate her birthday in MBS and stay overnight in staycation. I hope to help her to fulfill her 21st Birthday wish. I have many other friends and I am not bias to only one. It is the reality makes me feel that it is really really hard to trust anyone around you and also only a few friends out of that MANY FRIENDS are supportive and do not always drown you with negative remarks. Nevertheless when your own flesh and blood kin aren't. This is why I treasure friendship a lot.

I have more guy friends than girl friends although I always hang out with girls. Most guys I know are pretty mature than their actual age, which is actually a good thing. As for girls. errrrr , they are pretty much childish and they are the ones who are the cunning and selfish ones. I know I am a female. At times, I do not need to speak for my gender. Both gender have their rights and wrongs. Sometimes, I just like to see from the point of view from both. TO BE FAIR. Girls can dislike what guys like. Guys can dislike what girls like. You cannot make both to like the same thing at the same time. It is like forcing.

Even if it so, I still do not get why couples break up? I also experienced in break ups before. I will never patch back because if you want to break up with me then why bother about thinking of patching up. Learn to appreciate people in a harsh way.

Hope that you enjoyed some insides and the fashion inspiration I got from pinterest.

The Fashion Barbie Confession Tag

I was mocked by my peers for calling myself Fashion Barbie. I do not find anything disgusting or whatsoever. Whenever I hashtag fashion barbie on any of my social media, I will deem to have harsh remarks by my peers. Then just yesterday a new friend of mine told me about this tumblr, it irks me . To be honest, some of them who are featured in this tumblr page actually has pretty great sense for fashion. However, each picture have critical remarks on them.

People took time to dress nicely, get criticized. Whereas, people who just wear really really causally also get criticized. So, should all of the fashionable people in Singapore just migrate to other countries who are more into fashion? That does not makes any sense to me.

In this post I would want to share with you some facts about me. I used to wear over sized tee shirts and bottoms. My mother only allowed us to choose our own clothes after our grandpa passed away. I think I was already 16 years old.

Then I started to get really vain. Hahaha! I started to try out many clothes and then created this blog. Being inspired by many and motivated by my friends. I started to post my Outfit Of The Day (OOTD) occasionally. Each time I updated an OOTD blog post, I will add Fashion Barbie and Shirley Charlin on to the label section. I am really proud of my OOTD cos I do like the outfit I was wearing for the post. Even though the photos were not professionally taken. I am really happy because I am doing what I have always wanted to do and I enjoyed doing. I would really like to thank my friends who were willing to help me to take the pictures.

How can I afford all of the clothes I owned?

Frankly speaking, I worked hard to buy all of the clothes I wanted. I get really angry at myself a lot when someone choose my clothes for me and then I have pretend to like them out of courtesy. In fact, I actually like vintage clothes. I got to work more part time jobs during my semester break. I will start to hunt for the clothing that I have pinned in my Pinterest account and then start to think on how to match it with the humid weather.

I really really like bold prints and also mix patterns. *awkward*

I do receive some emails from various local blog shop companies to ask me to participate in their exclusive blogger sponsorship campaigns. LOL! Of cos, I declined them all except for the first ( time I had ever received, that kind of ) email. I do not need to participate in some sponsorship campaigns and then "beg" the companies to give me clothes. If they want to sponsor me, I would say Thank You. Else, I do not see any need for me to actually sign up for any of their blogger sponsorship campaign.

What do I think of the kind of outfit you wear?

I do not find anything wrong with wearing what you want to wear. I want to be one of a kind. I might not be pretty, slim nor tall, neither am I popular. I do have my own ways to express myself and showing others how unique am I. I am fine with any kind of outfit that I wanted to wear for that day. I do have wardrobe malfunction times. I will get inspiration from Pinterest or any of my favourite fashion bloggers such as Pale Division, The Blonde Salad, BryanBoy, Amy Valentine, Jag Lever and MilkWoman. My most liked bloggers who dare to wear. They started as a small passionate blogger. As they work hard in each and every posts, they gained really good reputation and be to what they are today- A Fashion Inspiration.

What makes you a confidence person.

I am not a perfect person, I always tell myself every morning when I wake up that I WILL step out of my comfort zone and explore more. I am still a poor student, applying and receiving financial assistance from school or else my aunts will have to pay for my school fees. Because I work hard, I do not feel ashamed to be honest to anyone that I have a DECENT part time job in a cafe. I earned money to buy and pay for my stuffs. I am still schooling and having great time coping with school and work. Can you believe this? However, I only have school holidays to hang out with friends. The cafe that I am working in, just open some weekday shift for the part timers. I am really not good in the job, I am really blessed to still be able to work in the cafe. At least I get to have extra more than $100 every schooling month.

And then during the semester break I will look for other jobs to work on the weekdays. By Christmas, I can really get my desired DSLR with every gadgets I needed. The webcam that my laptop already have pre-installed, is damaged. This make me so sad as I thought I could film some haul videos and maybe my first photo-lookbook onto my YouTube channel when I am not working.

Anyway, I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEW SEMESTER!
